Although the church is much loved by the villagers, the harsh reality was that it was not economically viable in its current form and closure was a real possibility.

To this end ‘The Village Hall Project’ seeks to transform the church into a useable space for a variety of activities.

Whilst the church will remain a place of worship the vision is that it will become a multi-purpose building that can be enjoyed by the wider community.  This would mean that this beautiful building could be further enjoyed by the community and be used by clubs and societies, for events and social gatherings, etc. The income from these events will contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of the church.
